It's a cold, rainy, cloudy day. Oh how I love to talk about the weather! Sooo... I changed up my blog background again. The creepy staring dots were weirding me out and my attempt at adding a little fall pizazz to my ol' blog failed. I'm back to bright and cheery. It contrasts nicely against the weather. :-)
So in an attempt to squelch my boredom and keep me from going shopping for things I can't have, I thought I'd engage in a little google fun. Ever google yourself? It's a good time. Put your name in quotations and it brings up more. My biggest problem is that apparently there are people with my same name that have more Internet exposure and consequently more exciting lives. For instance there's one of me in Detroit and Springfield. Some other me works in event planning and another in marketing. I kinda doubt they're sitting at home with a baby on them that's spewing out gas that has to be more then gas, but, oh, nothing. Still gas.
So after the first 10 pages I still haven't found myself. Let's throw the maiden name in with the married name. Ding ding ding. We have a winner! I'm the number 1 hit with a link to my facebook page! Take out the quotes and I'm still number 1 with a bonus link to info about my college graduation! So this got me thinking about how often you might be searching for things online and would come across my blog. Everyone loves exposure when they write on the Internet right?
Type in spunky stories and booyah I'm #1 and #2! Google "Mimi and Dude" and there I am at #6 and #10. However, I am sad to say that my parents aren't the only Mimi and Dudes out there. Sorry guys. There are more of you too! Google leafy bug and there my blog is at the bottom of page 1 thanks to some random site that is linking to it. Strange. But Jackpot anyway! I think that one is REALLY gonna bring in the traffic! Yep. I'm officially heading to the mall to shop get a life.
