We're rolling

So when Kate was a baby I think I was in some sort of sleep-deprived fog for the first few months and although I'm ashamed to admit this in public: I didn't keep up with her baby book. then it just became habit to be a milestone recording slacker.

No I can't tell you when she rolled over or how much she weighed at her 4 month check-up. I know it's bad and I feel bad for not doing better. I can't tell you the exact date she had her first helping of rice cereal-but there are at least pictures to prove it and I suppose thanks to my computer- a date attached to those photos somewhere.

My little baby just came down the stairs by the way (and I record this for all to read only because I'm making up for the early days) and asked me if I noticed anything in her shirt. Let's just say she looked more like she was ready to start middle school and not Kindergarten. Somewhere there exists a pic of me doing the same thing and I may have her re-create it for a photo just for posterity. :-)

*UPDATE* Minutes later she came down and was more then happy to oblige and gave me permission to "send" it to people.

Back on topic now... So in my quest to try and do better this time around I'm at least going to record these milestones here even if I don't have the energy right now to run upstairs and record this in his baby book. Yes he does have one!

So here it is... Aidan officially rolled over today just shy of 4 months from front to back. I can't say I'm religious about tummy time. But he had been getting close recently and I thought I'd try today. He immediately contorted himself into a strange side position where he stayed for minutes before finally heaving that giant leg of his over. It was cute and he didn't even get too frustrated in the process. Hopefully we can get it on film so everyone can see his accomplishment. Until then- enjoy these new pictures of our little cutie.

Anyone else notice how our little brown haired boy is losing the brown and growing in some blond? Hmm.
What?
She's teaching him to snap fingers-he's teaching her fingers are better for eating.
You can tell he was not nearly as amused as we were.
